Matthew R. Rosenkoff is a partner at Taylor English Duma LLP as a business litigator and trial lawyer. Mr. Rosenkoff’s practice extends to all phases of representing businesses and business people, from pre-suit dispute resolution to litigation. Specifically, Mr. Rosenkoff’s experience includes representing individuals, companies, and condominium/homeowners associations in litigation matters concerning, for example, contractual disputes; business torts; construction matters; labor and employment issues; real estate disputes; resort and hospitality disputes; and defense of consumer litigation, including, but not limited to, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Telephone Consumer Protection Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Fair Business Practices Act and other similar state laws.

Mr. Rosenkoff has also submitted numerous articles on various topics concerning consumer protection statutes. Mr. Rosenkoff is licensed to practice law in Georgia as well as in Florida and has experience practicing in federal courts in both Georgia and Florida, before the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, in appellate courts, and in American Arbitration Association proceedings. Atlanta employment attorney Paul Sharman received his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and law degree from Georgia State University. Prior to entering law school, Paul enjoyed a successful career in project management for a large consulting firm. Paul attended law school part-time while continuing his consulting career. In law school, Paul was an associate editor for the Georgia State University Law Review. Following law school, Paul worked as an associate at a midsize Atlanta law firm, specializing in litigation, corporate law and employment law. Paul later joined a prominent midtown Atlanta employment law firm and focused full time on representing plaintiffs in employment law matters.

In 2011, Paul opened The Sharman Law Firm LLC to serve clients in overtime, employment discrimination, employee benefits and other employment-related disputes, as well as appellate clients. Paul is admitted to the State Bar of Georgia, United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, United States District Court for the Middle District of Georgia and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. In addition to his practice as an Atlanta employment attorney, Paul is also an active member of the Atlanta Bar Association, American Association for Justice and the National Employment Lawyers Association, Georgia chapter. Paul is married to a fellow attorney and takes great pride in the accomplishments of their two daughters.

Director Todd Ashley

Todd Ashley is the Deputy Director of the Prosecuting Attorneys’ Council of Georgia. He joined PAC on July 15, 2013 and his duties include oversight of the agency’s training division, internal affairs and special projects. He also prepares training materials, legislative analyses, reports to the council and agency responses to constituent inquiries.

Prior to joining PAC, Todd served for nearly 12 years in the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office under District Attorney Paul Howard. He rose to the level of Executive Assistant District Attorney responsible for community prosecution in North Fulton County. He also served as Deputy DA of the Fulton County Juvenile Court for two years and as a Trial Division DA for six years, trying cases ranging from stolen autos to murder. He received multiple awards for his trial advocacy skills and for his service to the DA’s Office and the citizens of Fulton County. Twice he has been nominated for judgeships on the Fulton County Superior Court.

He also served for two years as an Assistant Solicitor General in the Cobb County Solicitor General’s Office under Solicitor General Barry Morgan. Over that two year period, he conducted over 30 jury trials and dozens of bench trials primarily on DUI, domestic violence and shoplifting cases. He also prepared and prevailed in two appellate cases, Brison v. State, 248 Ga. App. 168, 545 SE2d 345 (2001), and Hill v. State, 252 Ga. App. 473, 556 SE2d 545 (2001).

Todd has taught various subjects at multiple police academies and he is an annual contributor to PACGA’s Basic Litigation and Fundamentals of Prosecution courses. He has also lectured at Georgia State University, Georgia Perimeter College and he is a regular participant in Professors Ron and Michael Carlson’s “Carlson on Evidence” continuing legal education programs.

He received his undergraduate degree from Georgia State University and his law degree from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School. He is also a graduate of the Coverdell Leadership Institute. He is active in the State Bar of Georgia, the North Fulton Bar Association and has previously served as the Chairman of the City of Milton Ethics Board. He was appointed to the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council by Governor Sonny Perdue from 2007 – 11 where he served as Vice Chair of the Crime Victims Compensation Board. When not working, he can likely be found on a golf course.

Director Michael Penn

Michael A. Penn is a partner at Briskin, Cross & Sanford, LLC in Alpharetta, GA and has been an practicing member of the State Bar of Georgia since 1993. Michael currently serves as the Treasurer and President-Elect of the North Fulton Bar Association. Michael has been volunteering as an attorney coach with the Johns Creek H.S. George Sewell is a graduate of Emory University School of Law. His career--all of which has been in or around the construction industry--is widely varied, with experience as a JAG officer in the US Air Force, working for an oil company in Saudi Arabia and Europe, practicing law in Atlanta with Smith Currie & Hancock and working as an in-house lawyer with several different companies. positions. George spent 10 years at The Facility Group, a design-build construction company in Smyrna, Georgia and during his tenure there was promoted to positions of increasing responsibility to eventually become the Executive Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary with responsibility for corporate governance matters, all of the company's contract matters, compliance, insurance/risk management, claims and litigation management, office leasing and subleasing, HR matters, and trademark registration. George also was the corporate secretary responsible for the corporate books and records and all registrations and licensing. Currently, George provides in-house counsel services as an outside resource for manufacturing and construction companies. George is currently on his second assignment as the Atlanta General Counsel of ThyssenKrupp Industrial Solutions (USA), Inc., a ThyssenKrupp AG subsidiary that supplies and installs heavy equipment to the cement and mining industries.

Judge Christopher S. Brasher has served on the Superior Court of Fulton County since 2006. Previously, Judge Brasher served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Alcovy Judicial Circuit, and then at the Georgia Attorney General’s Office. As part of his practice, Judge Brasher has tried cases in the courts of more than 110 of Georgia’s counties, and had a significant appellate practice, including arguing dozens of cases before the Georgia Supreme Court and Georgia Court of Appeals, arguments before the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and an argument before the United States Supreme Court.

Judge Brasher serves as an elected member of the Executive Committee of the Fulton County Superior Court, as well as the Joint Governance Committee along with colleagues from the Fulton State Court Bench. In addition to regularly speaking to professional, civic, and community organizations, Judge Brasher has served for several years as a High School Mock Trial attorney coach. Judge Brasher received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Furman University, and earned his juris doctor degree from the Georgia State University College of Law.
